ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Richard Sainsbury is Emeritus Professor of Geriatric Medicine University of Otago, Christchurch. He was an elected member of the Medical Council of New Zealand from 2009 to 2015. He has an interest in the portrayal of ageing and older people in literature.
